There is no axe throwing venue in the Roaring Fork Valley. So we bring one. Mesa Edge hauls a caged trailer range or freestanding target lanes up the valley and sets it up wherever your event is happening.

Axe throwing is a warehouse business. It wants cheap square footage, a tall ceiling and a parking lot, which is exactly what the Roaring Fork Valley does not have going spare. The valley's one axe range, the Carbondale operation that ran as AX'D BABE, is the one we took over. Rather than pay valley rent for a building, we rebuilt the whole thing on wheels.
That turns out to be better for events anyway. Your guests are already at the ranch, the rental house, the tent, the office. Making forty people drive somewhere in the middle of a reception is how you lose the room. We park the range where the party is, coach everyone who wants to throw, and pack it out when you're done.
We tow up from Grand Junction, which means the whole valley is a normal working day for us: Glenwood Springs, Carbondale, Basalt, Woody Creek, Snowmass and Aspen. We have set the range up at valley ranch venues, private homes and tented receptions.
Anywhere along Highway 82 and out into the Grand Valley. If you're not sure whether your venue works, send it over and we'll tell you straight.
Both include targets, axes, safety setup, teardown, and a coach who runs the lanes the whole event. The difference is footprint.

A fully enclosed range on wheels. Best when there's a lot to park on and a crowd to impress: ranch venues, event lawns, hotel lots, festival grounds.

Freestanding lanes we carry in and set on the ground. The right call for private residences, tighter mountain lots, and anywhere a trailer can't turn around.
Nobody stands around holding a drink wondering what to do. A coach walks each person through it, and within a few minutes people who swore they'd just watch are lining up for another turn.
We arrive early, set up out of the way of your timeline, and pack out clean at the end. You don't lift anything.
Someone is on the lanes the entire time, teaching form, resetting targets, and keeping it safe without killing the mood.
Targets, axes, safety setup and lighting. You supply the guests; we supply everything they touch.

Valley events are custom-quoted: headcount, venue, setup and travel all folded into one number before you commit. No line items appearing later.
No. There is no permanent axe range in Aspen or anywhere in the Roaring Fork Valley. Mesa Edge is the mobile version, so we bring the range to your venue instead.
Regularly. The freestanding targets go on a lawn or courtyard, and the trailer parks in a driveway or turnaround if there is room to back in.
Yes, and valley weddings are a big part of our summer. We have run the range at ranch venues, private homes and tented receptions up and down the valley.
Travel is built into the quote. You get one number for the whole event before you decide.
