Same axes, same valley, new name. And it comes to you now instead of the other way round. If you found us looking for AX'D BABE, you're in the right place.
AX'D BABE ran axe throwing in Carbondale and served the Roaring Fork Valley. We bought the operation from the original owner, rebranded it as Mesa Edge Axe, and rebuilt it around a simple idea: a valley that can't spare cheap warehouse space shouldn't have to. So instead of asking people to drive to a building, we haul the range to the venue.
If an old listing, flyer or link sent you looking for AX'D BABE: the name is retired and the Carbondale location is closed. Everything it did, Mesa Edge Axe still does. Call or text (970) 319-1351.
What's the same: the sport, the coaching, the valley. What's better: we set up at your wedding, your company party, your rental house or your backyard, and we bring everything with us: targets, axes, lighting, safety setup and a coach who runs the lanes the whole event.
We work the corridor from Grand Junction up through Rifle, Glenwood Springs, Carbondale, Basalt and Snowmass to Aspen. Here's how valley events run →
The name is retired and the Carbondale location is closed. The operation lives on as Mesa Edge Axe, now fully mobile, so instead of a room you drive to, it is a range that shows up at your event.
Call or text (970) 319-1351, or send your date and venue. You will be talking to the owner, not a booking system.
Yes. Carbondale, Glenwood Springs, Basalt, Snowmass and Aspen are core territory, plus Grand Junction and the rest of western Colorado.
They are being wound down as the rebrand finishes. The current, accurate place for everything is this website and the phone number above.
